Choc James aka CHOC, is the founder of Ohio’s Most Wanted Steppers and a Chicago Stepping Instructor. He was born in Detroit, MI and his passion for dance was undeniable at an early age. During his early years and growing up in Detroit, where Ballroom style dance originated, he excelled and wanted to offer something more.
January 2014, CHOC began learning Chicago Stepping. His understanding of the dance, was so in-depth, that it fueled his desire to teach.
CHOC has competed in the World's Largest Stepping Competition and has won various Grab Bag dance contests. In addition, he has trained students from coast to coast who have gone on to compete and win in various categories of Stepping.
With his passion and love for the dance, he has made the learning environment and his approach to teaching a professional experience for all. His students have a deeper understanding of the dance. CHOC’s has acquired a unique skillset to have every dancer feeling confident on the dance floor.
